N or N-Type connectors are popular across a wide range of wireless technologies, particularly those sub-6 GHz. This N Female connector is designed for an ordinary crimp and solder attachment to LMR-240 and equivalent series coaxial cables. Ternary Alloy plating provides this connector superior PIM performance and extended operation to 6 GHz.
This N Female crimp connector is used to terminate RG-58 and LMR-195 (or equivalent) series braided coaxial cables. Installation is very simple. After preparing the cable, the connector is slid over the cable until the cable's centre conductor sits within the solder-cup that has been pre-fitted inside the connector. The conductor is then soldered in place. A standard 6.5 mm (0.255") hex die is used to crimp the ferrule.
